About Me

My name is Aracely, but my friends call me Ara. I’m in my 20’s and currently live in the beautiful city of Chicago, I have lived here my whole life and I couldn’t have asked for a better place to live. As you may already know Chicago experiences all 4 seasons and may I say, I’m glad for that because that means I have to buy clothing for every season not that I mind lol. Shopping is one of my addictions specially when it comes to makeup, I can get locked in Sephora and I wouldn’t mind, thats how much I love makeup. So, lets go down the road of what my life has been since I decided to become a youtuber.
  • In Feb 2012 I lost my job and moved in with my boyfriend at that time, I decided to go back to school full-time and dedicate my time to being a house wife while I found something. One day when I was looking up a recipe I stumbled across Youtube and found that there wasn’t just how to videos on recipes but also on makeup and hair and much more and that was it I was hooked.
  • In Dec 2012 after watching TheMakeupChair and Dulcecandy’s youtube videos I decided that making beauty videos was a good idea and a great hobby since I was still unemployed. So, I borrowed my mom’s camcorder and uploaded a video of a Target Haul and that was and still is my first youtube video.
  • In Oct of 2014 I got a job offer and started working again so I left my hobby unattended for some time, but after that I focused on working so, I could afford my beauty school courses and do what I love doing which is Makeup.
  • In July 2015 I had saved up enough money to take my beauty courses and I attended a Makeup academy here in Illinois and I graduated with a Makeup Artist and Creative Media certificate. After that discovered that not only did I love applying makeup on my self but even more when applying it on someone else.
Now that brings us to present time, I’m currently engaged to my amazing boyfriend of 6 yrs and I couldn’t be any happier and excited to what is coming for us in this new year. I have also decided to pursue my career of Makeup Artist and become a blogger with the hope of being of great help to you.

Nars: All day luminous weightless foundation review...

This foundation is one of my go to foundations when I want a long-lasting and flawless face. Now getting a flawless finish does take a little prepping and time, but the end results are worth it. So, lets get started with the Pros or things that I love about the foundation. Pros: The foundation is long-lasting, I have worn it for over 12 hours and it still looks flawless until I take it off. Since I do have combination to dry skin I don’t get oily a lot only in my T-zone which at the end of my day my natural oils don’t make the foundation split or look oily. My natural oils combine very nicely with the foundation and makes my face look natural. The foundation is water based so it’s runny, but don’t let that fool you because its coverage is amazing. One pump covers your face when using a synthetic brush, but with a beauty blender you are going to take up more product. When ever I use a BB I use one pump per side of my face, but wether you use a synt...

Benefit Roller Lash Mascara Review.

Hi girls, I’m back with a Review on the Benefit Roller  Lash Mascara that I’ve been using on and off for a good 3 months now, and I can really say that I’m in love with it. So, lets get straight to why I love it, first because it keeps my lashes curled and with my crazy stubborn left lash it’s hard to find a mascara that keeps my curl without being waterproof. I have seriously been using a lot of mascaras, and for some reason, I keep going back to waterproof mascaras. I just love that I don’t have to re-curl my lashes after I have applied mascara, but I dislike that I have to struggle so much when I have to remove them. So, when I first came across this mascara, lets be honest, I got sucked in by the Benefit sales lady who showed me how nice and easy it was to curl my lash without a curling tool, I was sold. Not only does this mascara keep my curl, but it also lasts all day and when I say all day I mean all my 10 to 12 hour shifts. It doesn’t flake which I really appreciate at...
