Smashbox what can I say other than I'm very disappointed with your product. I was very excited when I heard they were coming out with a Radiance primer that was going to blur my pores, illuminate and hydrate all at the same time, but my excitement faded when I first applied it. I have given it many chances to redeem itself, but all it's done is disappointed me even more with every try. I have worn it by itself, with foundation, on top of foundation and it just doesn't make me happy. When I have worn it bare without foundation it just gives me a glittery glow to my skin and not really a glow from within look. It looks like you have applied glittery moisturizer Like the ones you apply to your legs in the summer time. I have also worn it with foundation and it doesn't give me that inner glow such as other illuminating primer do and it just gets covered with my foundation even when I wear a very sheer foundation. Another thing is that with or without foundation it feels really heavy on my face even when I wear a very lightweight foundation it still feels heavy on. Another note is that it makes my t-zone more oily than it would normally get after 2 hours of application. I have to blot my face every 2 hours because if I don't it just looks like a greedy mess. It claims to have pore blurring effect but again I have to say it does nothing for my pores. Now the main reason I bought this product was because it has hyaluronic acid which is good for us dry skin girls. What hyaluronic acid does is brings hydration to the skin and keeps it moisturized and plumped, but once more it has let me down because it doesn't give me hydration or moisturizing. In the contrary I have to apply a large amount of product in order for it to not tug on my face. It says to use a dime size amount and apply to face but a dime size amount only covers one cheek and it tugs on my face when applying that I can't really blend it out more because it causes my cheeks to flake and get irritated. So, over all do I recommend this product??? NO, I don't recommend it you can find a better primer that will give you the illuminating or hydrating you need for a better price. Pros:
- You can use it on top of makeup for a subtle glow, but it defeats the purpose of being a primer.
